For product managers and delivery leads

Know which initiatives need attention, and why.

Keep product goals, initiatives and delivery commitments in one view. See recorded blockers and approaching dates, then use delivery history to make better-informed decisions.

Start with a standalone product board. Add delivery-team boards if they help your team.

Illustrative interface and example initiatives, not customer data.

Where it fits

A product decision view, not another issue tracker.

Candour helps product managers see why an initiative matters, where it stands and what needs a decision.

An onboarding initiative has been in progress for 18 days; comparable work typically took 30. Candour brings that early signal together with the target and latest updates, so you can check progress before the date is at risk.

Keep detailed tasks in your existing tools and update initiatives in Candour. Delivery-team boards are optional.

How it works

From intent to informed action.

Start with a product board. Add a delivery-team board only if it helps your team manage the work.

01

Connect the plan

Set a vision, organise annual and quarterly goals, and align initiatives to the team goals they support.

02

Review what changed

Use the summary to spot ageing initiatives, blockers and approaching targets while there is still time to act.

03

Challenge dates constructively

When your board has enough completed work, compare current initiatives with that history. Use the result as a discussion aid, not a promise.

A product journey

Follow one initiative, from goal to delivery conversation.

Here is how “Simplify account setup” moves through four connected views. The example is illustrative.

01

Planning

Why are we doing it?

Link the initiative to a team goal, quarterly OKR and annual goal. Its purpose stays visible as plans change.

Illustrative example, not customer data.

02

Product board

Where is the work now?

See what is active, up next or further away. The initiative card brings its age and target date together.

Illustrative example, not customer data. Done is also available on the full board.

03

Summary

What needs attention?

The same initiative appears as an early age check. Ask whether progress and dependencies still support the target, before it becomes a late delivery conversation.

Illustrative example, not customer data.

04

Forecast

What does delivery history suggest?

Read the colours against the calendar: they show the share of past initiatives completed by each date. The target marker gives you a starting point for a conversation about the commitment.

Early access

Try it with a real product, then tell us what is missing.

We are inviting a small number of product managers, owners and delivery leads to test Candour in their own context. This is an early pilot, not a claim that the product already fits every organisation.

What pilot access includes

Explore a product board with optional delivery-team boards and share feedback as you use it.

  • Planning, summary, board and forecast views
  • Invitations for colleagues who need board access
  • A direct conversation about what helps and what does not

The invited pilot is free, with a review after 90 days. Pilot participants who choose to continue on a paid plan will receive 50% off for their first 12 months. We will explain the final plan terms before any paid commitment; there is no automatic charge.

How Candour fits your tools, your team and your decisions.

Does it replace Jira or Linear?

Candour gives product managers a shared view of goals, initiatives, attention signals and delivery evidence. You can keep detailed issue tracking in the tools your teams already use. Candour's signals are based on the data recorded on its product board.

Can I import work or connect other systems?

Candour can import cards from CSV files into delivery-team boards. Future iterations may connect with other systems, including agent-triggered work. A product board can also stand on its own.

What can I share with stakeholders?

Invite colleagues to a board so they can review its summary, initiatives and delivery comparison together. Automated stakeholder reports and exports are planned for a future iteration.

Who can see my boards?

Board access is managed by invitation. A product-board invitation can also include selected delivery-team boards, without granting access to every board. Read our privacy information for how we handle personal data, or ask us a question before putting sensitive work into the pilot.

What makes an initiative need attention?

The MVP is designed to bring blockers and target dates together with early signals from initiative ageing and the stability of comparable delivery work. These signals should prompt a conversation, not make an automated judgment about a team. The age check in the journey above illustrates that direction.

Will I get a forecast on day one?

Sample initiatives can demonstrate the forecast, but their numbers are illustrative. A live comparison needs enough completed initiatives with dates on your board. Until then, Candour says that the history is insufficient.

How reliable is a historical comparison?

Past delivery is a useful signal when there is enough comparable work and the delivery system is reasonably stable. Both sample size and variation matter: a wide spread of completion times makes any date less certain. Candour's product signals should make that context visible, so forecasts support a discussion rather than promise an outcome.

What does the pilot cost?

The invited pilot is free, with a review after 90 days and no automatic charge. We are considering Free, £29/month Practitioner and £149/month Team plans. Pilot participants who choose a paid plan will receive 50% off for their first 12 months, with final terms explained before they decide.
